4. KEY PAD MODELS (MULTIFUNCTION
BATTERY CHARGER)
They come equipped with a highly user-friendly
LED indicator key pad.
They feature a wide variety of functions:
1. CHARGE - automatic charger and maintainer
using PULSE-TRONIC technology;
2. BOOST - rapid charge;
3. DESULFATION - regeneration of sulphated
batteries;
4. START (if foreseen) - starter aid.

1. Battery voltage selector button - 6V/12V/24V, in
BOOST, DESULFATION and START mode (if

- 4.b - battery charged.

4.2 SETTING BATTERY VOLTAGE
Use the button (fig. B.1), to set the rated voltage for
the battery to be charged.
VOLTAGE SELECTION
After connecting the clamps to the battery terminals:
- if the value detected is higher than the set value,
the LED will flash (fig. B.2), and the ALARM LED
comes on (fig. B.3);
- if the value detected is lower than the set value, the
LED will flash (fig. B.2), according to the selected
voltage until the selected process automatically
commences.
NOTE. The no battery connected status is indicated
by the flashing LED (fig. B.4a).
4.3 PULSE-TRONIC CHARGE/BOOST
PULSE-TRONIC CHARGE
The battery charger automatically detects the
construction technology and the battery status,
and starts and ends the PULSE TRONIC charge
process (see par. 2.2.1) with respective signalling
by the LEDs (fig. B.4a) and (fig. B.4b).

It is possible to run the BOOST rapid charge from
the advanced program mode, pressing and holding
the button (fig B.1) for 3 seconds, and selecting this
utility (fig. B.7).
