6.3.5 Engaging the wheel lock
CAUTION
Wheel lock not engaged
Falling, tipping over of the user due to rolling away
► Before getting into the mobility base or out of it, always engage the wheel lock.
► Verify the secure function of the wheel lock from time to time.
1) Engage the wheel locks: Press the brake levers down with the tip of your foot (see fig. 10, item 1).
2) Release the wheel locks: Pull the brake levers up with the tip of your foot.

6.4 Additional options
6.4.1 Push handle
1) Loosen the screws on the basic frame and replace them with the supplied long screws (see fig. 12, item 1).
2) Mount the adapter plate for the push handle on the side of the basic frame on which the telescoping tubes of
the wheels are installed (see fig. 12, item 2).
3) Firmly tighten the long screws (see fig. 12, item 1).
4) Insert the push handle into the adapter plate and let it engage (see fig. 11).
INFORMATION: The push handle can be removed at any time if required. To do so, pull the catch
behind the adapter plate towards you and lift the push handle up and out of the adapter plate (see
fig. 12, item 3).

7 Maintenance
The function of the product should be checked before each use.

The product should not be used if defects are noted. This applies in particular in case of instability of the
product or altered driving characteristics as well as problems with the user's seating position or the stability of
the seat. Inform the qualified personnel promptly for the rectification of defects.

This also applies if loose, worn, bent or damaged components, cracks in the frame or broken frame compon
ents are identified.
