product, as well as in the event of unexpected operating behaviour or
circumstances, contact the manufacturer (see manufacturer's address
on the back of this accompanying document).
1 Intended use
The Ottobock 757P28 Test Plug is solely to be used for functional testing of
System Electric Hands in combination with the System Tester 757T16 / 757T1
and System Electric Greifers of the MYOBOCK system prostheses with
Dynamic Mode Control (DMC/ DMC plus).
The following Ottobock components can be tested:
• 8E38=6*, 8E39=6*, 8E41=6*, 8E44=6* System Electric Hands DMC
• 8E33=9, 8E34=9 System Electric Greifers DMC VariPlus
• 8E38=8*, 8E39=8*, 8E41=8* SensorHand Speed
• 8E33=7, 8E34=7 System Electric Greifers Digital Twin

2 Safety instructions

• The test plug can only be put into operation in conjunction with
757T16/757T1 System Tester.
• The test plug may only be used in dry rooms.
• Do not allow debris or liquids to get into the test plug.
• The test plug should not be subjected to intense smoke, dust,
mechanical vibrations, shocks or high temperatures.
• Check the test plug for any visible damage before every use.
In case of damage the apparatus should immediately be sent
to an Ottobock service facility.
• Tests with 757P28 Test Plug may only be performed by tech-
nician that has attended to the respective seminar.
• Avoid using the device near strong magnetic or electric inter-
ference sources such as transformer stations or transmitters.
