Programming the Infra-red dog door
After powering the dog door and the collar key, approach the fl ap with the
key. The red LED will stop fl ashing and the door will emit a high pitched
bleep. (Fig. 18).
Your dog door is now programmed to recognise the collar key and the
locking bolts will be activated everytime you approach the dog door with
the collar key. The bolts will not relock until the collar key is out of range of
the dog door.
If you have more than one dog, you will need to purchase collar keys of
the same colour code.
The colour codes available are:
Black, Red, Brown and White.
keys can be purchased from the Staywell website -
www.staywell.co.uk
If your dog loses a collar key, you must
purchase a replacement of the same
colour. If you purchase a different
colour, you must reprogramme the dog
door with that new colour.
To reprogramme the dog door,
disconnect the batteries for
approximately three minutes and follow
the steps outlined on the previous
page and as above.

Manual operation
Please note, this feature
CANNOT
been fully powered and programmed. If you do not wish to use the
locking bolts the dog door can be placed in manual mode.

Press the manual button once (Fig. 20). and
the bolts will unlock and the LED fl ashes. The
dog door is now in manual mode.
To place the dog door back in automatic mode
press the manual button. The bolts will relock
and the LED fl ashes. The dog door is now
back in automatic mode.
