ALL parts of your system could carry blood-borne pathogens after use, even after cleaning and disinfecting.
Cleaning and disinfecting the meter and lancing device destroys most, but not necessarily all, blood-borne
pathogens.
DO NOT share your meter or lancing device with anyone, including family members.
Lancets are for one time (single) use only. Do not re-use lancets as this may result in infection.
Used test strips and lancets are considered biohazardous. Dispose used test strips and lancets carefully according
to your Doctor or Heathcare Professional's instructions.
To help prevent false high results, wash hands before using the system to test blood, especially after fruit has
been handled.
