TROUBLESHOOTING/SERVICE/SMARTWARRANTY™
The key thing to remember when servicing the SmartZone™ controller
is DO NOT REMOVE THE ENTIRE CONTROLLER FROM THE
SITE. SmartZone™ controllers are warranted by component for ease
of service, repair and warranty.
The SmartWarranty™ is valid on components only. Those
components are the front panel, the mother board, the PLUS4 board,
and the buffer board. The SmartWarranty™ covers defects in
materials, workmanship, and damage resulting from indirect lightning,
provided the controller was installed and grounded properly.
Each of the above components will have its own date code. The
SmartWarranty™ will be in effect for two years from that date code.
Defective components under warranty must be returned to Nelson.
Replacement of components will be delivered to the distributor within
72 hours of receipt of the defective components – guaranteed! (For
more information on the Nelson Warranty, see page 13).
