PROBLEM
Tool will not turn on.
Bit cannot be installed.
Motor overheats.
Two-speed gearbox will not
properly seat into the HI or
LO position.
TROUBLESHOOTING
CAUSE
Battery is defective.
Switch is dead.
Brushes are worn out.
Chuck is not open.
Cooling vents are clogged with saw
dust or debris, or are being covered
by hand during operation.
The gears are not fully engaged.

SOLUTION
Replace with new, charged battery.
Tool must be replaced.
Tool must be replaced.
Open the chuck.
Clear vents with compressed air.
Do not cover vents with hand during
operation.
Run the drill/driver for a few seconds,
and then adjust the two-speed
gearbox switch again.
