CLEANING OF THE POOL BOTTOM
Your mini-pool is equipped with a system for cleaning the pool bottom consisting of:
2 rigid pipes
1 brush
1 flexible tube
1 suction disc
Compose the mud vacuum by connecting the brush with the rigid pipes and the flexible tube.
Place the free end of the flexible hose in front of the delivery outlet of the system in order to let out all the
air inside it.
Insert the end of the flexible pipes thus filled with water into the hole on the disc and the latter on the skim-
mer with the pump running, taking care to lift it out of the water as little as possible.
Once started, the mud vacuum is used as a normal vacuum cleaner.
It is advisable to move it slowly across the bottom in order to prevent the dirt from rising before having
properly aspirated it.
After cleaning the bottom, switch off the pump and disconnect the mud vacuum from the skimmer. Before
switching the pump on again, check whether it is necessary to clean the filter, as indicated previously in
this manual.
WINTERISATION
Winterisation of the minipool (an extended period of non-use) requires the complete emptying and drying of
the basin and its storage in a dry and protected place.
ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION Processing of electrical and electronic equipment after their pe-
riod of use (Only applicable in the E.U.)
In order to reduce the amount of waste of electric and electronic apparatus, to reduce the danger of com-
ponents, to encourage the reuse of apparatus, to assess waste and to set up a suitable waste treatment
system, with the aim of improving the efficiency of environmental protection, a set of rules has been esta-
blished applicable to the manufacture of the product and other rules regarding the correct environmental
treatment when these products become waste.
It is also intended to improve the environmental practices of all agents involved in electrical and electronic
goods, including manufacturers, distributors, users and particularly those directly involved in the treatment
of waste derived from these apparatus. From 13th August 2005, to disposing of this apparatus you can take
it to local collection points.
The apparatus are labelled with a symbol of a "crossed-out waste container". This symbol means
that the apparatus is subject to selected waste collection, different from general waste collection.
Our products are designed and manufactured with top-quality, environmental-friendly materials and compo-
nents, which can be reused and recycled. In spite of this, several parts of this product are not biodegradable
and therefore it should not be left in the environment.
