WARNING
Danger of hands, feet and head being crushed. After removing the pin, the step is not fastened,
and could therefore move and cause damage. Make sure that the step is properly immobilised
before removing the fastening pin.
5. The chain's polyamide bearing becomes free after removing the front drum cover.
6. Disconnect the two optical sensors as can be seen in figure 39.
CAUTION
Take special care not to damage the connector pins and keep the optical sensor connections and
connection cables totally dry.
7. Remove and replace the chain.

9.5.2 Assembly

To reassemble the unit:
Carry out the points explained in section 9.5.1 in reverse order. Bear in mind that the moving step
should be kept at its bottom position at all times, and this will make the assembly process and
subsequent calibration easier.

9.6 Checking and replacing the chain polyamide bearing

The polyamide bearing tightens the chain in the Waterlift transmission system.

9.6.1 Disassembly

To replace the polyamide bearing:
1. To be able to disassemble the chain polyamide bearing, you should put the moving step to its lowest
position to prevent any unexpected movement of the transmission system caused by the moving step
lowering.
2. Disassemble the swimming pool lift.
