INSTALLATION
Service and installation of the reel should be carried out by a qualifi ed electrician.
The cable reel must be secured to a wall or ceiling by using screw anchors to fi x the bracket through its mounting holes
as shown.
Adjust the cable stopper to a suitable position as required.
OPERATION
Check the reel for correct operation by slowly pulling the cable out. A "clicking" sound can be heard at every half
revolution of the drum.
To latch the reel, pull the cable out and allow it to retract after the fi rst, second, or third click.
To rewind the reel, pull the cable until the clicking sound stops and allow the cable to retract until the stopper rests
against the cable guide.
To avoid damage to the reel, always hold the cable whilst it is rewinding.
Always pull the cable from the reel by the cable itself and not the and not the lamp.
MAINTENANCE
Periodically check the perfect effi ciency of the cable and that no cut or abrasion has occurred on the insulator which might affect insulation
or functionality. Clean the cable by means of a cloth soaked in hot water to remove dirt and incrustations and guarantee a perfect rewinding.
Do not use any detergent or solvent which might turn out to be incompatible with the cable reel materials.
