WARNING!
The position of the pump on the stand can affect the stand's stability. If the
pump is mounted too high on the stand, the stand may tilt or topple. The user/
operator of the device is responsible for making sure the device cannot be tipped
over or otherwise become unstable.

1. Hold the pump (1) with one hand (3) as depicted in Fig. 4-2 "Attaching the
pump to the stand": With the thumb inside of the empty cassette slot, fingers
underneath the pump up behind the grip edge in the bottom.
2. Slide the pump (1) onto the rod (4) of the stand. Position the pump on the
rod of the stand at the patient level, usually between 100 cm/39.37 in and
130 cm/51.18 in.
3. Use your other hand to tighten the toggle screw (5) at the rear of the pump.
NOTE!
Make sure the toggle screw is tightened sufficiently to fasten the pump securely
in place. Also check that the toggle screw remains tightened.
4.2

Power Supply

The device can be operated with the integrated rechargeable battery pack or con-
nected to the mains power supply. The battery is recharged automatically when
the device is connected to the power supply.
CAUTION!
Check to make sure the available mains voltage matches the data listed on the
type label attached to the back of the device. Incorrect voltage can cause errors
and malfunctions and may destroy the device.
