If a control signal is applied at I2 within the active leaf release hold-open time, the lock also retracts
the vertical rods of the top/bottom lock and moves to the fully open final position. The passive leaf
can now be accessed. Once the hold-open time has expired, the lock moves into its initial position
and the signal contact 1 closes.

Voltage loss during motor-driven operation
If the power supply fails during motor-driven actuation, the motor stops and the lock remains in its
current position.
The door leaf can still be opened at any time manually via the door hardware.
In order to use the motor-driven lock at fire and smoke protection doors, it must be connected
WARNING
to an emergency power supply!
To ensure that the lock also travels reliably to the initial position when the power supply fails, it must
be connected to an emergency power supply (B-54903-23-3-9 or external emergency power supply).
The purpose of the emergency power supply B-54903-23-3-9 is to lock once only, it cannot be used
for permanent motor-driven actuation of the lock. If the supply voltage at terminals G2 and V2 of
the controller B-54900-01-3-9 is insufficient, it will not process signals at inputs I1 and I2.
