11-1.3 SIDE BRUSH MAINTENANCE

REPLACING
After lifting the front part of the machine, replace the side brush by slackening the brush fixing screw (2, Fig. 7-
1.1) and removing the brush.
Replace the brush and secure the new one in place with the screw and its washer.
ADJUSTING (Fig. 11-1.3)
The side brush is adjusted by slackening screws (1) and using the slots to position the brush at the required height.
Once you have positioned it, tighten the two screws (1).

REPLACING
To replace the centre brush, remove the front bin and slacken the four fixing screws to remove the brush.
When mounting a new brush, pay attention to the direction in which the brush will spin: it must direct dirt towards
the centre of the machine.
ADJUSTING (Fig. 11-1.4)
To adjust the centre brush, remove the top bonnet, slacken the lock nut (2) and turn adjusting handle (1) in the
direction required (clockwise to increase pressure). By pulling up the handle, the brush will run idle.
This will allow you to position the brush in a place where it will not prevent the top bonnet from closing.
