NOTE: If you have configured a WNC 1 to manage 2 outputs at once, the software considered THE VOLUME
OUT OF LATEST as basis to increase or decrease the volume. From here, both
outputs will have the same value (the last output) and WNC 1 increase or decrease the volume in
both outputs simultaneously.
This course will occur in the event that two or more outputs configured in the STATE have
different volume, it is not common, because if you attempt to control different outputs with different
volumes, the best option is to use several WNC 1's.
4. Connect a Cat 5 cable in order to link the device in a LAN
5. This connector is used to supply the device. Connect an external DC 5V - 350 mA power supply taking
into account the corret polarity as marked in the drawing, with the GND pin as the more external
terminal.
Installing WORKCAD software
Considering that WNC 1 uses the same
process must be completed previously, using the CD that accompanies Digiline unit.
WNC 1 (Connection)
WNC 1 must be connected to an ethernet LAN using a Cat 5 cable with RJ 45. In this case is advisable that the
network has DHCP, which will provide a valid IP address to the device.
In the same network must be connected a computer with WORKCAD control software installed and the Digiline
(8 or MX) which has the outputs that we want to control.
NOTE: If your network has no DHCP connection, the device will assign to WNC 1 an IP within 169.254.XX
range, being XX a direction supplied by the device upon its connection to not interfere with other devices in the
same network. WORKCAD software will detect the device for configuration.
WORKCAD (Main Screen)
WORKCAD software supports multiple WORK compatible devices. The generic interface is common to all were
differences by controls and parameters capabilities and configuration of each individual device type.
The main screen shows the large blocks into the program.
