WNC 1 (NOTES)
NOTES:
LAN connection
1. If the LAN has DHCP, it will assign a valid IP address in the correct range to all devices present in the
LAN (WNC 1 (one o more), Digiline and computer).
2. If the LAN has not DHCP, the connection between is possible inside IP range 169.254.x.x. This range is
defined inside IP protocole as link local. Therefore, all device inside this range will have not problem
connecting between them
Additional note: The most common scenary is the point 1, a LAN with DHCP which assign IP to all devices
Configuration
1. To switch off the WNC 1, select "None" in the "Link with device" window.
2. The STATEs can be enabled or disabled by clicking on the attached box.
3. Clicking on the triangle next to the STATE , unfold the matrix. The output corresponds to the row and number
marking. Inputs associated with each output corresponding to columns (from1 to 8 and from left to
right).
4. When activating a STATE, the corresponding LED will lit for 1 second and then, the LEDs of the active
inputs in this state will lit.
5. In case of multiple outputs configured with the same WNC 1, if you change the volume, WNC 1 will consider
the value of the last output as reference to leave all outputs to the same value and thereafter increase
or decrease the volume.
6. If there is a facility with 2 or more WNC 1 set to the same output, the devices will synchronize
immediately in front of any change in either volume or STATE.
Quick Guide
Right-click in the mouse over the WNC 1 inside PROJECT
INSPECTOR, allows to change several features of the device
as:
- To rename
- To delete the deviceof the PROJECT INSPECTOR
- To change the static Ip address or the Subnet
- To reset the device
- Max and Min Value are used to mark the limits of output volume
- "Send only the changes on state" : If you mark it, the states will operate
according to the pushbutton.
- If you do not need to modifiy the state in one input (You are controlling it
independently, unmark it).
