FUELS

In order to guarantee a proper combustion, it is necessary to use quality combustible materials that meet the stated
standards.. The use of combustible materials in which breach the specifications mentioned below implies the cancellation
of the warranty and the manufacturer's responsibility for the product.
If you use combustible materials according to the present specification, we guarantee an impeccable working and good performance values
of the installation. In the event of not knowing a distributor able to supply materials meeting these criteria, we would kindly inform you about
the distributors that you may be interested in.

PELLET

-
Quality standard
Only wood pellets certified by these standards or certifications should be used:
Standards:
Ö-Norm M 7135 | Din 51731 | EN-14962-2 (all repealed and included in ISO-17225-2)
ISO-17225-2
Quality certifications:
DIN+
ENplus: on the web site (www.pelletenplus.es) you can check all manufacturers and distributors with certificate.
It is strongly recommended that the pellet is certified with quality certifications because this is the only way to guarantee the
constant quality of the pellet.
Moreover, it must comply with the following requirements:
Diameter: The pellet diameter should not be either lower than 6 mm or higher than 8 mm.
Minimum length: The weight proportion corresponding to those wood pellets with a length lower than 10 mm should not exceed 20% of
the total combustible mass.
Additional requirements to combustible materials:
-
Ash sintering point: The ash sintering point should be higher than 1100°C.
-
Ash fusion point: The ash fusion point should be higher than 1200°C.
-
Ash softening point: The ash softening point should be higher than 1150°C.
-
Transport and storage
However, the most important thing is to fulfil the transportation rules, since it is possible to damage good quality pellets just by handling them
in the wrong way during the transportation or the pouring in the hopper. The pellets transportation to the final customer, or to the intermediate
distributor, and the subsequent distribution are ruled by the "EN15234 pellets transportation and storage" . Please, only choose suppliers
who transport and storage pellets according to these rules.
-
Pellet supply
Open the tank cover on the top of the equipment and empty directly the pellet bag taking care of not overflowing. You should also avoid that
the fuel spills out and falls outside the hopper because it would fall into the equipment.
In case of Hydrotex and Hydroconfort model boilers with a joined tank, to supply fuel to the tank, you must open the tank cover and empty the
pellet bag directly. If necessary, an additional ladder or platform will be required.
Remember that in order for the capacity sensor to activate the pellet loading motor of the joined tank automatically, the installer must
have electrically connected the tank engine to the boiler electronic board, as well as modify the parameters of the boiler to activate
this option. Otherwise, the fuel capacity sensor will warn you of the lack of fuel but it will not run the joined tank.

How to connect the annexed tank (optional only for Hydrotex and Hydroconfort models)
First of all, inside the annexed tank you will find two symmetrical and therefore different pieces, as shown
in the drawing, which serve to fix the auger to the tank.
We proceed to unscrew this plate and, in its place, position/screw (taking advantage of two holes made in the hopper and having to make
two new holes), the filling mouth to the corresponding height according to the model of our boiler (bottom in the case of model of 27 kW and
top in the model of 23 kW) to match the height of the tank. Once the filling mouth is positioned, we will have to cover the resulting space left in
the hopper, for which we cut through the cut line the unscrewed sheet of the hopper in the previous step, proceeding to screw the piece into
the two existing holes and having to make two new holes in the hopper again. In order to cut the part, you do not need any auxiliary tool, only
by repeatedly bending the part through the pre-cut line, due to the punching of the part, it will eventually get separated.
INSTALLATION, OPERATING AND SERVICING INSTRUCTIONS
You must choose the position of the auger in the annexed tank depending
on whether you want to place the tank to the left or right of the boiler, ie if
the tank is going to be placed to the right of the boiler, the auger should
be positioned towards the left of the tank and therefore you must use the
correct part and discard the one that does not serve.
Then, in order to connect the tank annexed to the boiler, we need to install the filling mouth, to do this, once
the side (right or left) where to place the tank is chosen, we must break the punching in the side chamber
of the boiler, to later access the side of the hopper where we will find a metal plate screwed to it with four
self-tapping screws.
