Ceramill Multi-x and
Ceramill Multi-x Upgrade kit
Ceramill Multi-x is a technically advanced version of the
gB
Ceramill base machine which is used in the dental lab for the
efficient and precise manufacture of zirconium dioxide frame-
works by means of the copy-milling technology. The integrated
Ceramill Multi-x machine consists of a scanning/milling unit
(vertical pantograph), a bench unit (spherical shell table) and a
base section upon which the bench unit and the radial milling
guide are mounted.
The Ceramill Multi-x Upgrade Kit is made up of a milling/ sensing
unit (vertical pantograph) and a table unit (spherical shell table).
Every Ceramill base can be adjusted simply by resetting both of
these components.
Due to their freedom of mobility, both Ceramill Multix and
Ceramill Multix Upgrade Kit open new indications for zirconia.
The vertical pantograph, consisting of the radial scanning
guide and the radial milling guide, allows for vertical
movement in milling. Boreholes and vertical surfaces are thus
manufactured with ease and precision. The spherical shell
table, locked by vacuum, allows to readily and quickly adjust
the workpiece into the position desired for milling in order to
manufacture undercuts and boreholes.

COMMIssIOnIng
It is absolutely necessary to read the instruction manual
before unpacking and setting up the device, and to keep it
readily availably during setting up.
After unpacking the machine, check immediately for any
possible damage that occurred in transit. If any damage did
occur in transit, then please inform your supplier at once.
Place of installation
The device may only be operated continuously in dry rooms!
CaUtIOn! the pressurized air to be used as well as the
connecting hoses must be free of moisture, dust and oil.
In case used connecting hoses are to be employed that
have been out of service for a while, it is important to
thoroughly clean them with pressurized air free of
28
moisture and oil prior to connecting them to the machine
or to use a pressurized air filter, respectively.

Open the screws of the base milling table to the right and left
of the base and remove this from the guide rail.
Mount the adapter onto the guide rail using the enclosed
screws (with the appropriate thread), as shown in the diagram.
