5. Bring the actuator to rest position (DA function: OPEN position)
6. Check the actuating angle and repeat the procedure starting from Point 3 if necessary.
7. Screw in the special nut again (2) and press the O-ring seals into the corresponding
seats (4).
Stroke limiting for left turn 10° max.
1. Please check that the springs are in the rest position; the keyway in the shaft (1) should be
positioned as shown in the diagram. Please also check that there is no compressed air in
the control air connection (D).
2. Unscrew the special nut (2).
3. With a screwdriver, turn the screws (3) clockwise to reduce the possible stroke.
4. Use the control air to bring the actuator to working position (DA function: OPEN position)
and check the actuating angle.
5. Repeat the procedure starting from Point 3 if necessary.
6. Screw in the special nut again (2) and press the O-ring seals into the corresponding
seats (4).

Settings for the closed position for butterfly valves Type 036 and
Type 037
In the CLOSED position of the butterfly valve, the valve disc is not quite at right angles to the
axis of the pipe. Deflection values are indicated in the following table.
