9. Local connection of the INGECON SUN ComBox
The following figure shows the arrangement of the connectors necessary to make the following connections:
•
Connection to a local master (connectors 1, 2 and 3).
•
Connection to the INGECON units via RS-485 (connector 4).

When the INGECON SUN ComBox acts as a communication gateway, the input points 1, 2 and 3 are directly
connected to the sole output point available.
In the event that the device requires the power setpoint order to be sent (or other information), to
prevent collisions in the RD-485 output the input points 1, 2 and 3 are momentarily disconnected
for the duration of the transmission.
In order to change the power setpoint, see the section "7. Connecting digital inputs: power setpoint".
9.1. Connection to a local master
The INGECON SUN ComBox allows for communication with a local master via RS-485, USB and Ethernet.
RS-485
Make the connection via RS-485 as shown in the following figure, using INGECON SUN ComBox connector 3.
