Operation
10.2.3. Bluetooth
In order to obtain remote communication using the INGECON SUN ComBox with the integrated Bluetooth
accessory, the device must be connected to a router via its Ethernet interface or have the GPRS modem installed in
the INGECON SUN ComBox base plate.
You must take the following into account regarding the Bluetooth network:
•
There may be up to four masters on the network. The INGECON SUN ComBox device and computers
connected via Bluetooth to that network are considered to be masters.
•
Each node, whether master or slave, can be connected to a maximum of another four nodes.
In order to remotely access a plant with Bluetooth communication you must indicate this in advance
in the software, defined in the section "11. INGECON SUN Manager".
Remote communication via Bluetooth with modem connection
In the example shown below the INGECON SUN ComBox has integrated Bluetooth technology to connect locally to
the system units. The remote connection is established by connecting the device to the installation's router.
