4 Connect the miniature valves electrically
Each valve coil is assigned to a soldering socket in order
that the valves can be controlled. A valve location always
occupies one address. Unused valve locations, e.g. re
serve plates, also occupy one address.
Caution
The components will be damaged if you touch the con
tact surfaces of the plug connectors and if you do not
observe the regulations for handling electrostatically
sensitive components.
Controlling the valves
Control the valves in a uniform manner. Preferably, all con
trol signals should be positive−switching (1−switching),
otherwise negative−switching (0−switching). Mixed mode
control is not permitted.
Address assignment of the valves
Assign the addresses in ascending order without gaps.
A valve location always occupies one address.
Counting begins from left to right (position of basis
block: soldering sockets are behind the valves).
