2.
Locate the driver housing cover on the luminaire housing and open by
L
loosening the four (4) #10-32 X 0.75" stainless steel cover screws (see Figure
6). Detach the (-) (BLACK) and the positive (+) (RED) driver output wires from
the splice connector per the wiring diagrams (see Figure 4 or 5) and terminate
ends using methods that comply with all applicable codes. The driver is not to
be removed from the fixture. Bring in the output wires that were previously
connected to the battery back-up enclosure to the LED board wires. Attach
the positive (+) LED output to LED board from the battery back-up unit to the
positive (+) splice connector in the linear LED fixture. Attach the negative (-)
LED output to LED board from the battery back-up unit to the negative (-) splice
connector in the linear LED fixture.
3.
Re-install the driver housing cover and tighten all four (4) cover mounting
screws 32 in.-lbs. (3.6 N-m).
4.
Replace any damaged or missing cover screws. Consult factory for
replacement parts.
5.
The battery connectors per Figure 4 or 5
are shipped disconnected. Locate these
connectors and make the connections
for battery 1 and battery 2 per Figure 4
or 5. Ensure the red and black wires are
aligned correctly on each connector.
