On the first vertical tee, at the flue gas outlet of
the appliance, a pipe must be connected at the
bottom to drain any condensate that may form
in the chimney (Fig. 26).

As an additional safety measure, a threaded cou-
pling with "R" closing cap is provided in order to
connect a condensate drain pipe (Fig. 27).
