LUX-top G-T – shear connector (installation optional)
a) After the guardrail has been fully
assembled, divide the guardrail
sections into
individual lengths
b) Cut the guardrail tube in the
relevant section after approx.
1/3 of the section/span distance
using pipe cutters or a metal
saw and deburr if necessary
c) Push on LUX-top
connector and fix in the middle
over the joint by means of the
wing screws (middle alignment
achieved using the middle hole)
User instruction:
To foldaway/collapse the system, undo the wing screws of the LUX-top
push the shear connector to the side and fix there using the wing screws to prevent sliding.
