Raise support arm.
Attach lower hooks, and side hooks.
Attach both bottom strap hooks (labeled
BOTTOM) to the to the bottom edge of the
trunk, hatch lid, or rear door, the tie down hooks
underneath the vehicle, the metal ledge of the
bumper, or the metal ledge above tail lights. They
should be parallel and pointing directly down.
TIGHTEN ALL STRAPS COMPLETELY. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.

Loosen side knob.
Never place straps
near vehicle's hot
exhaust.
Note: Placement will vary depending on vehicle.
Adjust straps as necessary to attach side strap hooks
(labeled SIDE) to upper side edge of trunk, hatch, rear
door, or above, below, or next to the tail lights. They
should be horizontal, or close to horizontal. They should
be attached at the shortest distance from the edge of the
trunk lid to the attachment point on the QuickBack.
Adjust straps by pulling on free end
of straps, or by pressing the release
buttons on the buckles.
Extend support arms.
Tighten knob.
