During work
If visibility is impaired:
Grasp one corner of front visor, draw off to side and dispose of in
accordance with the applicable waste disposal regulations.
Insert a new front visor between upper and lower row of buttons and press
into place on the adhesive strips.
After work
Leave the hazard area.
Remove hood with head harness:
Stretch rubber band in collar and draw it over your head.
Disconnect demand valve from compressed air hose:
Press both coupling halves firmly together and simultaneously draw back
the outer sleeve so that the coupling disengages. Fit cap.
Open belt and put down apparatus.
Switch off the compressed air supply.
Maintenance and care
If soiled
Front visor and outer hood: must be replaced.
Head harness: Remove connecting hose from silencer and draw it out of
the hood.
Clean, disinfect and dry basic equipment:
Clean with lukewarm water containing Sekusept Cleaner (Fa.Henkel-
Ecolab, D-40589 Düsseldorf, Germany) and a cloth.
Rinse thoroughly under running water.
Only use approved disinfectants, e.g. Incidur (Fa.Henkel-Ecolab, D-40589
Düsseldorf, Germany). Note manufacturer's instructions. Rinse thoroughly
under running water.
Leave to dry in a drying cabinet (R 28 305) or in air.
Maximum temperature 60 °C. Keep away from direct sunlight.
Polluted parts: must be disposed of.
Storage
Wipe visor with an antistatic cloth. Fold up hood, keeping visor flat. Pack
all parts in the bag supplied and store in a dry, cool and dust-free room
without deformation. Keep away from direct light and heat.
Note DIN 7716 "Guidelines for storage, maintenance and cleaning of
rubber products".
The apparatus can be stored indefinitely if the above storage conditions
and the maintenance intervals are observed.
