MAINTENANCE

Foreword
The unit is designed and built to require a minimum of maintenance. In any case always
remember the following basic recommendations to ensure a good functioning of the unit:
In case of frost risk, empty the pump completely.
Before a long period of inactivity, empty the pump, rinse it with water and store it in
a dry place. Before restarting it, check its correct operation by turning it on and off
shortly. Afterwards fill the pump with delivery fluid and prepare it for use.

OPERATION ON THE UNIT
CAUSE
No mains voltage
Pump impeller locked
Thermostat disconnected
Suction valve outside the fluid
Pump chamber without fluid
Air in the suction hose
No hermetic suction valve
Dirty suction filter
Maximum suction height exceeded
Dirty suction filter
Fluid level lowers quickly
Pump flow-rate reduced by foreign
objects
Overload motor. Too much friction
caused by foreign objects
SOLUTION
Check the voltage
Remove the hydraulic part and
check if the impeller is free to
rotate. Reinstall carefully
Place the valve into the fluid
(minimum 30 cm below the
level)
Pour the fluid into the suction

Check the seal of suction hose
Clean the suction tube
Clean the filter
Check suction height
