Changing procedure (change of the service mode)
1) Pressing (+) switch 1, turn ON the power.
2) Continue to successively press switch 1 for three seconds
even when the screen display is displayed.
3) When the buzzer sounds two times, the service mode
starts up.
4) Press (▲) switch 2 to scroll 96 to 65.
5) Press (+) switch 1 and select the additional device
function.
6) When (+) switch is pressed three times, [Fun] and [UT1]
are displayed, and [UT1] (function setting of additional
device 1) is selected.
7) When (+) switch 1 is pressed three times, [U1.0] and
[SS10] are displayed, and MF short stitch device is
selected.
8) When (▼) switch 3 is pressed once, [U1.1] and [C. 10]
are displayed, and it means that the setting of number of
stitches of the short stitch at the time of delivery is 10
stitches.
Press (+) switch 1 to increase the number of stitches
and press (−) switch 4 to decrease it.
(Note) [C. 10] can be set 0 to 999 stitches. However, check
the finish of sewing and perform the compensation
since there are cases where the number of stitches
which has been set cannot be obtained depending
on the number of revolutions and the number of
stitches to be set.
9) When (▼) switch 3 is pressed once, [U1.2] and [C. 2]
are displayed, and it means that the setting of number of
stitches of the normal stitch at the time of delivery is 2
stitches.
Press (+) switch 1 to increase the number of stitches
and press (−) switch 4 to decrease it.
(Note) [C. 2] can be set 0 to 999 stitches. However, check
the finish of sewing and perform the compensation
since there are cases where the number of stitches
which has been set cannot be obtained depending
on the number of revolutions and the number of
stitches to be set.
10) After setting the number of stitches of the short stitch
and that of the normal stitch, press (▼) switch 3 once
to determine the setting.
Turn ON the power again, perform trial sewing to confirm
the number of stitches of the short stitch and that of the
normal stitch.
