The rules and recommendations indicated below comply fully with current regulations on
safety, based principally on the fulfilment of regulations of a general nature. We therefore rec-
ommend that all people exposed to risk should strictly adhere to accident prevention regula-
tions in force in their country.
S&P shall be exempt from any liability resulting from damage caused to persons or property
as deriving from failure to comply with the safety regulations or from any possible modifica-
tions of the product.
The EC stamp and corresponding declaration of conformity certify conformity with applicable
European Community standards.
3. GENERAL REGULATIONS
A risk analysis for the product has been completed in the manner envisaged in the Machinery
Directive. This manual contains information for all persons exposed, in order to prevent any
possible harm or damage to persons or things as a result of defective handling or mainte-
nance.
All maintenance interventions (both ordinary and non-scheduled) must be carried out with the
machine halted and disconnected from the electricity grid.
In order to avoid any accidental starting up, place warning signs on the main switchboard and
control console with the following message:
"Beware: control disconnected for maintenance operations"
Before connecting the electricity supply cable to the connecting strip, ensure that the voltage
of the line corresponds to that indicated on the data plate of the unit.
Regularly check the product labels. These should be replaced whenever they become illeg-
ible.
4. UNIT LABELLING
The machine may include different signage pictograms, which must not be removed. The
signs are divided into:
- Forbidden signs: Do not carry out repairs or adjustments during operation.
- Danger signs: Indicates the presence of elements with tension inside the container on
which the notice is displayed.
- Identification signs: EC card, indicating the manufacturer's address and product details
The EC marking indicates that the product conforms to European Community stand-
ards.
