Assembly:
Bring the rotor (78) in vertical position. Set bearing
cover (85) on the rotor. To install a new bearing AS
(83) type 6206-2Z-C3 grease the inside of the inner
bearing ring, the shaft and the bearing with bearing
grease type ASONIC HQ 72.102. Press the ring on
the shaft by means of a bush. Fix lock ring (82). In-
stall new bearing BS (84) 6206-2Z-C3 after greasing
the bearing and the shaft with a high melting point
bearing grease by forcing it on the shaft by means of
a bush. Slip pump flange (77) on bearing (83) and fix
it with screws (81) on bearing cover (85). (Take care
to equally tighten the screws!) Check magnet (80)
for dust particles. If needed particles can be removed
by means of a sticky tape. Insert the complete set of
rotor (78) and pump flange (77) carefully into the
stator housing (79). Slip bearing compensation disc
over the shaft . Slip motor cover BS (75) carefully
over bearing BS (84). Insert the 4 tractor screws (74)
and tighten them equally. Slip the remote control plate
(73) over the shaft onto the motor cover (75). Screw
3 fixing screws (72) carefully without to much strength
the plate shall not turn any more). Fix the cable clamp
(71). Install the key (70). Clean the support for the
magnets (69) and install it on the shaft (slip on shaft
until stop). Tighten worm screws (68) of support and
check that its position is fixed. Adjust the commuta-
tion using the position indicator of the rotor when the
motor is turning at no load in counter clock wise mode. Connect motor to electric current. Adjust the control input tension 400 V 50 /60 cycles of
the converter and adjust the pulse amplitude modulation for the layout speed of 6200 min
clockwise rotation of the motor visually. Measure the no load speed = layout speed with a digital tachometer ( tolerance = ± 10 %). At the same time
the position indicator of the rotor has to be adjusted manually in such a way that during counter clockwise rotation all the commutation peaks of the
no load current show the same amplitude in the oscilloscope (see oscillogram pict.
with a TRMS – Amperage meter (clamp type). Admissible tolerance are I
Fix protection cover (67) with screws (66). Fit the tolerance ring (65) on the shaft. Fix the fan (64) on the shaft so that both the shaft end and the
hub end are on the same level (use a rubber mallet and slight force!). Fix protective cover (62) with screws (61). Test for warpage versus C at ø 250
mm. Acceptable tolerance : 0.1 mm.
Trouble Shooting
1.
Blower does not reach operating speed when starting:
1.1 Mains voltage out of the tolerance range.
Solution: Adjustment of the mains voltage.
1.2 Connection of the plug (J) is incorrect.
Solution: Check the plug connection.
1.3 Commutation electronic (KLM) is damaged.
Solution: Exchange the electronic (KLM).
2.
Motor starter cuts out blower:
2.1 Blower is overloaded i. e. pressure difference is too high.
Solution: Increase the inlet – or outlet diameter of the application, on pipework increase the diameter of the application, of the pipework, avoid
restrictions in the line. Limit the pressure difference by limitation valves (optional extra).
3.
Required pressure difference cannot be achieved:
3.1 Filters are contaminated.
Solution: Clean or exchange the filters.
3.2 Pressure loss into pipework is too high.
Solution: Use bigger pipe diameter, avoid restrictions.
3.3 Leaks on the system.
Solution: Check the pipework of pressure losses.
4.
Blower operates at an abnormally high temperature:
4.1 Ambient or suction temperature is too hot.
Solution: Do not exceed the ambient or suction temperature of 60°C.
4.2 Pressure difference is higher than permitted.
Solution: Limitation valve (optional extra) is requested.
4.3 Cooling air flow is restricted.
Solution: Please check the conditions of installation.
Appendix:
Repair on Site: For all repairs on site the motor must disconnect from the electric mains so that an accidental start of the unit cannot happen.
Please get in contact with Heidelberg Service in the competent representation.
After a repair or before reinstallation follow the instructions as shown under the headings "Installation and Initial Operation".
Lifting and transport: To lift and transport the blower SPH the eye bolt on the pump must be used.
Storage: SPH units must be stored in dry ambient conditions with normal humidity. We recommend for a relative humidity of over 80 % that the
pump units should be stored in a closed container with the appropriate drying agents
Disposal: The wearing parts (as listed in the spare parts lists) should be disposed of with due regard to health and safety regulations.
