Check for a secure attachment by pulling up on the carry handle
and rocking carrier back and forth to make sure both sides are
secure. Always place carry handle in carry position when vehicle is
in motion to reduce rebound in the unlikely event of an accident.
Carrier coupling with depleted batteries
When the batteries are nearing the end of their useful
life, an audible beep will sound. This child restraint can
be used after the batteries are depleted but without
continuous safety monitoring. For more information on
batteries see pg. 37.

Installation Verification:
Whenever you push the button on the side of the base, the system will
perform a safety check. It will confirm that:
• The LATCH connectors are attached
• The belts are tensioned the correct amount
• The base is leveled to the recommended angle
In the event that anything is incorrect, an error message will appear to
let you know what actions need to be taken to correct the issue.
