IDLE FLAME SETTING
When the appliances are set to Butane/Propane gas, the idle screw is turned as far to the
right as possible.
When switching from Butane/Propane gas to natural gas, loosen this screw until you
obtain a good idle flame setting (see the table on page 27). The idle flame is set properly
when the flame is not extinguished when passing quickly from the maximum to the
minimum positions.
Set the idle flame with the cooking plate installed and fastened:
1. Move the lever, pulling it towards you, and remove the ring.
2. Use a small screwdriver to access the adjustment screw located on the periphery of the
thermostat axis. Turn the idle screw through one anticlockwise revolution and refit the
lever (see figure 4 on page 68).
3. Switch the plancha on in the high flame position for 5 minutes
4. Set the lever to the low flame position
5. While looking at the flame under the plate, loosen to increase the idle flame and tighten
to reduce it (see table page 16).
6. Replace the lever and the ring.
