TAM SETTINGS
Press ∧ or ∨ key to select TAM SETTINGS item.
1. TAM ON/OFF
Press SET/OK key to show TAM ON/OFF, then press SET/OK, the LCD display ON, press ∨ to select OFF
or ON, and press SET/OK to confirm. If you have selected ON, the display shows OGM1, press ∨ key to
select OGM2 or OGM1, then press SET/OK to confirm your selection.
2. SET OGM
Press ∨ key to show SET OGM, then press SET/OK to SET OGM, choosing OGM1 or OGM2 by pressing
∧ or ∨ key, press SET/OK to confirm.
Then press ∧ or ∨ to select PLAY, RECORD, DEFAULT, press SET/OK key to confirm your selection.
Select PLAY
If at step 4) you select " PLAY ", it will play the currently selected OGM.
Select RECORD
If at step 4) you select " RECORD ", it will prompt " Please record new announcement after the
beep ", and you can then speak into the handset microphone to record your personal announcement,
of up to 120 seconds. Then press SET/OK to end it.
Select DEFAULT
If you select "DEFAULT" , it will reset your OGM to the default pre-set announcement.
3. SET RING
Press ∨ key to select SET RING, press SET/OK to enter, press ∧ or ∨ to choose 2~9 or TOLL SAVER
rings. Press the SET/OK to confirm and return to previous menu.
Note: If you don't set a number, it will answer after 5 rings. If you want to dial in and check your messages
while you're away, you can set TOLL SAVER--if there are new messages, the telephone will answer the call
after 2 rings, if there are no new messages, it will answer after 5 rings. So, if you call in and you don't get an
answer after 2 or 3 rings, you can hang up and save on call charges.
4. TAM PIN
Press ∨ key to select TAM PIN, press SET/OK to enter and the display will show the current setting"0000",
use the keypad to enter the new security PIN code(maximum 4 digits), press SET/OK to confirm. The security
code is used for remote control or to default the TAM and is a 4-digit code, the default security code is "0000".
5. TAM DEFAULT
Press ∨ key to select TAM DEFAULT, press the SET/OK and the display will show PIN?, key in your TAM
security code number (default pin code is "0000"). Then press SET/OK to confirm the defaulted and the
display will return to idle mode.
OPERATION
To play/pause/stop messages on TAM
When there are new messages, the display will show e.g. 01/02 MSGS, which means you have 1 new
message/2 messages altogether. In idle mode,
Press and hold 5 to listen to messages and memos, press ∧ or ∨ key to adjust the playing volume.

Press 5 again to pause during a message. The pause time maximum is one minute. If not quit from

pause in one minute, then it will stop and quite the message play after one minute automatically. If you
want to stop completed the playing of the message, then press 8 key imprinted.
