CAMERA FIRMWARE UPDATE AND LOAD DEFAULT SETTINGS

To update the firmware version of the IP cameras connected to the NVR, copy the camera update file to the USB pen
drive. The last version of the update file can be downloaded to PC from the Urmet website (www.urmet.it), following the
path: "DOWNLOAD -> SOFTWARE -> Technical software -> SECURITY -> CCTV (Firmware)". Registration to the
website is necessary to access the download section.

After saving the update file to the USB pen drive, insert it into a free USB port of the NVR, open the NVR menu at the
page [Advanced → Maintain], click on [IPC upgrade]. Select the file, confirm and select the NVR channels of the IP
cameras to be updated.
WARNING:
Camera update time is usually not longer than 10 minutes.
During update do not disconnect nor switch off the NVR and the cameras.
During update the camera doesn't send images, so they aren't visible in the LIVE grid any more. The video flux
is automatically restored when the update procedure is completed.
After the firmware update, it is suggested to load the camera default settings from the menu page [Advanced →
Maintain] by pressing [IPC load default].
