NVR FIMRWARE UPDATE AND LOAD DEFAULT SETTINGS

To know which firmware version is currently installed in the NVR, access the menu page [System
If the version is not recent, the NVR system software (firmware) can be updated by following the steps below:
The last version of the update file can be downloaded to PC from the Urmet website (www.urmet.it), following
the path: "DOWNLOAD -> SOFTWARE -> Technical software -> SECURITY -> CCTV (Firmware)". Registration
to the website is necessary to access the download section.
For further info please send a request mail to URMET customer service:
Insert a USB pen drive into the PC and copy the folder "nvrupgrade", used for update, to the pen drive.
Insert the USB pen drive into the free USB port (in the front or rear panel) of the NVR.
Access the NVR OSD menu by pressing the right mouse button and enter the administrator password (default:
00000000). In the NVR menu select [Menu
Wait until firmware update and device reboot are completed.
In the NVR select [Menu
and click on [Apply]; the device will be restored to factory settings.
Exit from the OSD menu and wait until the device reboots, if needed.
NOTES:
Before updating the firmware version it is recommended to always backup the important recording files
in the hard disk.
After loading all the default parameters, set again the base configurations (Language, Date/Time,
Recording parameters, Video local output settings etc.).
