Connecting the electrical power to MagicSpeed
Therefore, please observe the following instructions:
To prevent damage to the cables, when laying them, ensure that they are
far enough away from hot or moving vehicle components (exhaust pipes,
drive shafts, light systems, fans, heater etc.).
Wrap insulating tape around every connection on the cable (even inside
the vehicle).
When laying electric connections (fig. 3, page 3), ensure that
– They are not kinked or twisted
– They do not rub on edges
– They are not laid in sharp-edged ducts without protection
Protect every hole you drill against water penetration, e.g. by using a
cable with a sealant and by spraying the cable and the the cable sleeve
with sealant.
7.2
Connecting the control lever
➤ Plug the connection cable of the control lever (fig. 0 1, page 6) into the
sockets of the 8 pin plug housing (fig. 0 2, page 6).
Make sure that the colours on the connection cable match those on the
mating connector.
➤ Connect the slotted pieces (fig. 0 3, page 6) to slots 1 and 5 of the 8 pin
compact plug.
➤ Feed the connection cable for the control lever to the electronic module.
➤ Plug the control lever's plug housing into the electronic module's 8 pin
socket (fig. a, page 7).
