WARNING. It is recommended to
install the video handset in a dry
place.
WALL MOUNTINGS
XKP/300+XKP/85
Set the embedding box (three-
module version, or round with 65
mm) so that it is flush with the wall
at an appropriate height for the
user. Join the mountings using the
two joints, figure 2, and insert the
two rectangular hole plugs on the
outer sides, figure 1.
Remove the connecting cable
connector
mounting slot and pass it through
the relevant hole towards the
XKP/85 mounting, figure 2.
Fix the mounting to the wall by
means of provided retainers and
screws, figure 3, 4 and 5.

Having made the connections,
position the wires so that they do
not pass over the XKP/300 moun-
ting's lower fastening screws.
XV/200 (XVC/200) MONITOR
MODULE WITH XC/300
HANDSET MODULE
Make sure the locking latch is in
the left position
Insert the monitor module on the
XKP/300 wall mounting and insert
it on the actual support by pushing
downwards, figure 6.
In order to prevent the module
from falling subsequent to acci-
dental knocks, secure it to the
mounting by moving the locking
latch to the right, figure 6.
Pass the monitor module connec-
ting cable through the opening in
the base of the handset module,
figure 7.
Insert the base on the XKP/85
mounting and insert it on the
actual
support
downwards, figure 8.

Secure the base in place using the
screw supplied and make the con-
nection between the modules,
figure 8.
Fit the handset module housing
and apply the two side panels,
figure 9 and 10.
Insert the cable connector of the
receiver in the base and hang up
the receiver, figure 11 and 12.

WARNING. The use of the monitor
module alone, in system 300
installations, is possible in combi-
nation
with
coder/decoder for video receivers,
or telephone interface IT/300.

Remove the jumper if the line con-

T 500 mA - is located on XKP/300
printed card.
(Fuse: F=fast, T=slow).

WARNING. When the monitor
module XVC/200 is installed on
the XKP/300 mounting, fuse F2,
type T 500 mA, must be replaced
with fuse type T 630 mA supplied
with the module.
Technical features
• Supply voltage: 12V AC or
14÷18V DC (from a transformer
installed near the monitor or direc-
tly from power supplier XA/300LR).
• Current demand with monitor on:
70 mA.
