NC/221PA PRESS TO TALK AUDIO
MODULE
Press to talk amplified audio module
for use in series 200 video entry instal-
lations.
It is to be installed in a unified rec-
tangular recessed box of three or six
modules along with the monitor mod-
ule using the NS/61 kit.
The unit comes with adapters for
the use of a number of commercially
available front plate models.
Hooks are applied on the back of the
module for the possible assembly of
the CD/200 decoder.
It features the following controls

Remove the jumper in the event
the volume of the call note is to be
attenuated (fig. 2).
Technical features
• Maximum switching power of the
auxiliary services button: max. 24 V
50 mA.
• Working temperature range: from 0
°C to +35 °C.
NOTE. Receivers with handset and

NC/221PA modules can be installed in
the same installation.

INSTALLATION OF THE MODULE
WARNING.
- If it should be necessary to extract
the module from the frame, use a
screwdriver as shown in figure 3
and push from the rear.
- For the GEWISS plates of the
Playbus series (fig. 8) and ABB
plates of the Elos series (fig. 13)
eliminate the joining rods of the
adaptor.
- When using GEWISS plates of the
Playbus and Playbus Young series,
eliminate the hooks indicated in
figure 10.
Recess the embedding box flush with
the wall at a suitable height for the
user.
Examples of assembly of the module
in a standardised single embedding
box with a number of commercially
available front plates (fig. 5÷13).

DISPOSAL
Do not litter the environment with
packing material: make sure it is dis-
posed of according to the regulations
in force in the country where the
product is used.
When the equipment reaches the
end of its life cycle, take measures to
ensure it is not discarded in the envi-
ronment.
The equipment must be disposed of
in compliance with the regulations in
force, recycling its component parts
wherever possible.
Components that qualify as recyclable
waste feature the relevant symbol and
the material's abbre-viation.
