6.4 - Regulating the minimum heat capacity
(fig. 6)
• Remove the front control panel to access the adjusting
points.
• Light the main burner and put the knob on maximum so it
works at full power for a couple of minutes and then put it on
minimum.
• The burner is regulated well if there is no flash back when it
is hot and no flame lift when it is cold; in addition, by turning
the knob quickly from maximum to minimum the flame
should not go out.
• Regulate the flow of gas: to reduce it turn screw "1"
clockwise or counter clockwise to increase it.
• For liquid gas the minimum regulation screw must be
tightened right down.
• For natural gas, regulate the flow following the indications
given in Table 3 – reduced power.
• Make sure the burner lights even when on minimum.
6.5 - Converting to another type of gas
• So the appliance can function with a gas other than the type
specified, for example, changing from natural to liquid gas, it is
necessary to change the main burner, pilot burner and the
minimum by-pass injectors (see Table 3). All the injectors
necessary for the adjustment are supplied with the appliance.
Note: After conversion to a different type of gas it is
necessary to affix the correct adhesive over the old one on
the data plate (which you will find in the bag of injectors)
showing the type of gas being used.
6.5.1 - Changing the main burner injectors
(fig. 7)
• Unscrew injectors "1" from the bottom part of the appliance,
and replace them with those suitable for the gas type chosen,
following the instructions given in the table.
• Injector diameter is given in hundredths of a mm on its body.
• Screw the new injectors firmly into place.
6.5.2 - Changing the pilot burner injector
(fig. 8)
• Unscrew screw "4" from the gas pipe.
• Remove injector "5" and replace it with the appropriate one.
• The number identifying the injector is on its body.
• Retighten screw "4".
6.5.3 - Changing the minimum by-pass injector
(fig. 6)
• Remove the control panel by unscrewing the relative screws
and let it hang on its supports.
• Unscrew the minimum injector "1" on the gas cock and
change it with another suitable for the gas type chosen,
tightening it right down.
• Injector diameter is given in hundredths of a mm on its body.
Note: after having replaced parts of the gas pipe it is always
necessary to check for leaks using a foam spray product.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING THE PAN
7 - CHECKING OPERATION
• Switch the appliance on following the instructions for use.
• Check safety valve calibration (where applicable).
• Check the gas system for leaks.
• Check the ignition and stability of the flame, both at
maximum and minimum capacity.
• Check the efficiency of the fumes exhaust system.
• Check lid balance.
• Instruct the user on how the appliance works and how to
service it with the aid of the instruction booklet and most
important of all, explain to him all the warnings and
recommendations that must be observed to ensure a correct
use.
8 - MAINTENANCE
• All parts which may require servicing and maintenance are
easily accessible after having removed the control panel or
bottom panel.
