Diagram 1: In this setup the
following audio systems can be
used:
• Beosystem 7000 (or 6500)
• Beosystem 9300 (or 9500)
• Beosystem 4500
Diagram 2: In this setup the
following Beovision TV's can be
used:
• Beovision MX 7000/6000/4000
and LX 6000/5000/4000
• Beovision MX 5500/3500 and
LX 5500/4500
The following applies for both
Diagram 1 & 2: Depending on
age, your audio or video system
may need modification, in order
for the setup to function
optimally (please contact your
Bang & Olufsen dealer).
NOTE! Switch off the power for
your entire system, while you
make the connections.
* This connection is only
relevant in a setup as shown in
Diagram 1 – and then only if no
speakers are to be connected to
the audio system (Option 0).

The BeoLink Converter is intended for use in two
different setup situations:
1 In a setup based on a Bang & Olufsen audio system
without the Master Link socket – and a Beovision
equipped for Master Link connections (Diagram 1).
2 In a setup based on an audio system equipped for
Master Link connections – and a Bang & Olufsen video
system without the Master Link socket (Diagram 2).
Placement
Once connected, the BeoLink Converter box should be
fastened to the wall, concealed either behind the audio
system or behind the video system.
Connections
Depending on your setup, make your connections as
shown on either Diagram 1 or Diagram 2:
• A BeoLink (Master Link) connection using a BeoLink
multi-connector cable.
• An Audio Aux Link connection using an Audio Aux
Link cable.
• A Power Link connection using a Power Link cable*.
Ready for use...
Before you start using the system, a few steps related to
your setup must be carried out:
• Connection to the mains.
• Programming of Option in the audio and video
systems.
NOTE! To ensure correct function of your setup it is
essential that you connect both the audio system and
the video system to the mains – before connecting the
BeoLink Converter box to the mains!
Both your audio and video system have to be
programmed. This programming is dependent on your
particular setup. Please refer to the chart to see which
Option to select. The programming is done with a
remote control (Beolink 1000 or Beo4), and with both
systems switched to stand-by!
