Scanning Made Easy

The scanner should have already been installed and programmed. If
not, consult the Product Reference Guide. If you need assistance,
contact your local supplier or Symbol Techologies.

Installing the Cable

1. Switch off all devices connected to the LS 400X cable.
2. Pull the boot up over the cable until just the connector is pro-
truding.
3. Plug the modular connector on the cable into the receptacle in
the bottom of the LS 400X handle. Listen for a click.
4. Gently tug the cable to ensure the connector is properly se-
cured.
