STATEMENT OF USE
The Geoloc tag holder accessory is designed for
being installed on Desoutter EABC-eLINK and
EPBC battery nutrunners. It allows to connect
the tag module (part number: D4MODULE30)
distributed by Ubisense.
No other use is permitted.

TECHNICAL DATA

INSTALLATION
● See page 6.
● Wear an antistatic wrist strap when
you install the tag module.
● Before installing the tag module,
check that firmware and software
releases are as follows:
- Tool firmware ≥ 2.3.1
- CVI3 controller ≥ 1.8.1.X
- CVI3 Suite ≥ 1.2.7.X
● Before inserting the Ubisense tag
module, write by hand its MAC
address on the label of the tag
holder.
● When the battery pack is connected to the
tool, the green power LED lights up.
● Launch "CVI MONITOR" software to declare
the accessory. To declare the accessory, you
must have a USB stick with the right access
rights (configured with the Desoutter CVIKEY
software). If not, contact your CVIKEY
manager for support.
● Go to the tab "Tool identification", tick the
box "Front light" and set "eLINK modules
definition" to "None". Click "Write to tool" to
write the new settings in the tool memory. The
tool is ready to run.

representative for support.

● To use the tool equipped with the Ubisense
tag module, follow the instructions given by
the manufacturer.

MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS

● Please consult us on the "Tool Care"
program that includes production support and
maintenance solutions.
Maintenance should be performed by qualified
personnel only.
The use of spare parts other than those
originally supplied by the manufacturer
may result in a drop in performance or
in increased maintenance and level of
vibration and in the full cancellation of the
manufacturer's liability.
Recommissionning
● Prior to putting the different parts of the
system back into service, check that the main
settings have been correctly set up and that
the safety devices work properly.
When disposing of components,
lubricants, etc... ensure that the relevant
safety procedures are carried out.
According to Directive 2012/19/
CE concerning Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment (WEEE), this
product must be recycled.
