three. Slide the pole set carefully through these openings, in such a way that the pole set can
be slid into the next part of the tunnel. Attention: Never pull the pole set back, if you do this,
parts of the poles will come loose. In case the pole set has been slid too far by accident, please
push it backwards from the end.
c. Make sure that the pole set sticks out equally on both sides.
d. Finally, remove the little plastic cap from the pole set, so it can be used for the next tunnel.
e. If the pole set is placed in the tunnel, turn over the next band with canvas, in such a way that it
is exactly aligned with the previous band. Then, you are ready to slide a pole set inside this tunnel.
f. Once more, you start by placing the little plastic cap on top of the pole set. Then two people
again slide the pole set through the tunnel. Each time a pole set is completely inside a tunnel,
turn over the canvas to align it with the previous band to place the next pole set in the next
tunnel. If the 7 pole sets have been slid into the tunnels and the tent bands are neatly aligned
on top of each other, the entirety is ready to be placed on the anchors.
Step 4: Place the tent on the anchors
a. To do this, grab the entire tent on one side and place it on the inside of one of the anchors.
Attention: Never pull on the tent poles, but always cárry the entire tent.
b. Do the same for the other anchor. This will require more strength.
c. This way, make sure that the tent is placed, on the ground, in the shape of a perfect half circle.
d. Now you're going to place the ends of the pole sets onto the pins of the anchor. To do this, one
person will need to stand on the inside of the tent and lift the pole sets in the right order behind
the anchor.
e. The other person will stand on the outside and twist the hinge/block with pins in such a way
that the one pin in the anchor that does not move, points more or less upwards. Then, this
person places the bottom pole set on the first pin. Beware: Do not pull on the pole set, it does
not matter if the pole set does not slide in completely up to the end of the pin. Then, place, in
the right order, the other 6 tent poles onto the corresponding pins.
f. Do exactly the same at the other anchor. The person standing on the inside of the tent now also
grabs the pole sets from behind the anchor and hands them to the other person in the right order,
who then places all pole sets on to the corresponding pins. It could happen again that the pole
set does not entirely slide up to the end of the pin. This is not a problem. Attention: Make sure
to never pull on the tent poles, because this will pull apart the pole parts. If there is too much
space, together you can always slide the tent as a whole closer to the anchors. It is not a problem
if one or two pole sets are not on the pins at all and may be 'floating'. Later on, when the tent is
set upright, this can be rectified.
Step 5: Setting the tent upright
Attention: The method of setting up a SunnyTent size M differs from a SunnyTent size L. Therefore,
read the instructions below very carefully, to prevent damaging your tent.
5.1 Setting a size M tent upright:
a. The tent is still on the ground. The topmost tunnel, with pole set, has 3 openings. Tie the rope
to the pole set in the middle opening of these three openings. First, make a little loop on the
end where the rope fastener is not located and then move the rope through this loop (behind
the tent pole).
