Installation

Before you Begin

This kit is required in order to install a Built-in 2007 series, single 30" oven under any Bosch 30" gas cook tops.
IMPORTANT:
This kit is designed specifically for Bosch produced gas cook tops and is not recommended for any other installation.
WARNING:
SHUT OFF THE GAS SUPPLY AND DISCONNECT THE MAIN POWER TO THE APPLIANCE BEFORE
INSTALLING THIS KIT.
WARNING:
Improper installation, adjustment, alteration, service, or maintenance may cause injury or property damage.
Refer to the cooktop installation manual. For assistance or additional information, consult a qualified
installer, service agency, manufacturer, or gas supplier.
Parts Included
1 Low Profile Elbow Brass Connection
1 STD ½" NPT Brass Street Elbow
1 STD ½" NPT x 1 ½" Brass Nipple

Installation Procedure

To ensure proper installation, all steps must be followed in the correct order as listed below.
IMPORTANT:
All threaded connections must use an appropriate gas sealant.
Install the low profile elbow to the gas cooktop connector, ensuring that the inlet to the elbow is facing the rear of the

unit as shown in Figure 1: Step 1 below.
Thread the provided street elbow on the low profile elbow.
