Removing passenger footrests
Remove the passenger footrests on both sides.
Fitting the Akrapovic exhaust system
Connect the manifold connector to the center part of the manifold and
insert the retaining pin of the clamp into the slot under the engine.
NOTE: Cover the inside of the center part of the manifold with
Akrapovic ceramic grease.
Mount the manifold connector to the cylinder head, the original exhaust
gasket can be used again. Check that the gasket is correctly seated. Apply
gold grease to the thread, place the nuts on the threads.
Connect the front of the manifold to the spring, mount the rear of the mani-
fold and secure it with the spring.
Mount the main silencer left and right and secure it with springs.
Variant with catalyst: attach the catalyst between the end of the mani-
fold and the main silencer, the arrow must point in the direction of flow.
Push on the carbon clamps of the bracket kit.
NOTE:
Open the clamp a little more than the diameter of the outer sleeve of the
main silencer to prevent scratching the exterior of the main silencer.
