Working on a slope or in uneven terrain

On slopes with an inclination of more than 40% or on uneven terrain the machine may slip
or topple over.
• Observe the ambient conditions.
• Inspect the subsoil before work.
• Select the correct tyres: Double wheels, cage wheels... .
• Correct air pressure in the tyres.
• Use the largest possible track width and axle width.
• Adapt your speed.
• Closed footwear with non-slip soles is indispensable and climbing irons for shoes should
be used if required.
• Keep people away from the danger zone.
Simple checking of the slope inclination in % with a spirit level, see illustration below.
