No. 10 (location of sensors)
- Respect the layout of the sensors according to colour: outside ones - blue;
inside ones - black.
Caution, the sensors must not be interchanged. Mount the sensors accord-
ing to the length of cables in such a way that the bunch may come out from the
centre of the bumper.
No. 15 (installation of conductors of the park distance control)
- Run the conductors across the transverse beam (eventually, across the trail-
ing coupling) to the orifice for the entry of electric installation into the vehicle.
Further on, pass the conductors through the orifice to the place for the control
unit of the park distance control (fig. 20).
Nos. 18a, 19a (affixing of loudspeaker – plastic strip on ceiling)
- Situate the loudspeaker upon the ceiling strip in the vehicle axis in such a way
that the LED diode might be directed towards the interior of the vehicle. Mark
the place for drilling the orifice through which the conductor to loudspeaker will
pass.
- Pull the conductor of loudspeaker through the drilled orifice, and affix the
loudspeaker. Run the conductor of the loudspeaker towards R.H. rear column,
and further, along the sealing of the luggage compartment lid, to the place for
the control unit of the park distance control.
Nos. 18b, 19b (affixing of loudspeaker – upholstered strip on ceiling)
- Situate the loudspeaker upon the ceiling strip in the vehicle axis in such a way
that the LED diode might be directed towards the interior of the vehicle. Mark
the place for drilling the orifice through which the conductor to the loudspeaker
will pass, as well as of two orifices for fastening the loudspeaker body.
- Pull the conductor of the loudspeaker through the drilled orifice, fasten the
body of the loudspeaker with two self-cutting screws and fix the loudspeaker
back. Run the conductor of the loudspeaker towards R.H. rear column, and fur-
ther, along the sealing of the luggage compartment lid, to the place for the
control unit of the park distance control.
No. 21 (terminal boards, fastening of conductors)
- Connect the terminal boards into the control unit according to coloured marks
on the label affixed to control unit.
- At suitable places, fasten all the conductors with fastening tapes to the
present electric installation of the vehicle so that they might not suffer any dam-
age, and no bothering noise might be produced during the drive.
Having finished the installation, mount all the dismounted parts back to
their places according to the Workshop Manual. Connect the car battery,
and check the function of the sensors.
