stored after 5 sec. The TTL symbol ceases to
flash after storage.
E-TTL flash operation is indicated in the LC display
of the mecablitz. The display
not illuminated. When E-TTL flash control is
deactivated, then the 54 MZ-... will operate in the
camera's normal TTL flash control mode.
Warning:
E-TTL flash control can neither be performed nor
set if a secondary reflector on the flash unit is
activated or if the flash unit is in a REMOTE mode.
The E-TTL indication on the LC display of the
mecablitz 54 MZ-... or SCA 3102 (display
40 MZ-1i and 40 MZ-3i) will be extinguished. The
camera will then operate with normal TTL flash
control.
Most digital cameras only support the E-TTL
flash mode in the camera's full auto mode (or
"AUTO"), program "P", "Av", "Tv" and in the
programmed image control modes. The use of
other flash modes, such as normal TTL, Auto A
or Manual M is not possible in these camera
modes! The Auto A and Manual M flash modes
are supported by the digital camera only in the
manual "M" camera mode. Please refer to the
information given in the camera manual.
