ASSEMBLY
High Lift Blade Installation
Shut the engine OFF and remove ignition key (if so equipped)
before removing the cutting blade(s) for sharpening or
replacement. Protect your hands by using heavy gloves when
grasping the blades.
Periodically inspect the blade and/or spindle for cracks or
damage, especially after you've struck a foreign object. Do not
operate the machine until damaged components are replaced.

IMPORTANT:

This attachment is best suited for use with the high lift
blades supplied with this attachment. To change the blades on your
28" mower proceed as follows:
1.
Allow the engine to run until it is out of fuel. Do not attempt to
pour fuel from the engine. Disconnect spark plug wire. Refer to
Engine Operator's Manual.
2.
Turn mower on its side making sure that the air filter and the
carburetor are on the side facing up.
3.
Place a block of wood between the center deck housing baffle
and each cutting blade to prevent the blades from turning
when loosening the blade's hex flange nut. See Figure 14.
