To remove the beacon from the flange:
1. Use a flat tipped screwdriver to push the detent while
turning the beacon counterclockwise.
2. Pull up when the detent is free of the notch.
If desired, permanently lock the flange to the base using the
three #8 screws provided. See Figure 2.
